We really lucked out with the weather we had this day - especially with the summer we've had! I had a lovely warm summer afternoon at the park with some truly awesome families- check it out below!
I was lucky enough to photograph this momma when she was pregnant with her little girl and we did my first ever gender reveal shoot! I was so happy when she called me up to do a family shoot this summer. Here are some shots from that day.
My busy season this year seemed to come in the "brown" season of Calgary, so when it started to bloom and green up I was so excited and inspired to take these pics of these amazing families. A handful of the slots were dedicated to the fort mac Red Cross relief fund and I was more than happy to dedicate my time to such a worthy cause so close to home. Thank you everyone so much for your donations!
Introducing the custest siblings ever! Just check out that first image. J & M are such awesome big brothers - her future suitors better look out! I just LOVE photographing dear friends - these guys are no exception! xoxox
I always love it when I get to photograph friends of mine. We met big sister G when she was just a newborn, so it has been so much fun watch them grow! She was so enamored by her new little sister. This family is full of so much love and I had so much fun at this session! Baby Ava is too cute for words!
Another round of mini sessions! This time we headed for Edworthy park - perhaps my new favourite location. It looks like a Forrest you only see in the movies with large, towering trees all lined in a row. The perfect backdrop for another round of amazing families! It was an absolute perfect day out - we couldn't have asked for anything better!
I had so much fun with my first round of mini sessions of the season at Canmore Park in Calgary's NW. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day and I couldn't have asked for more wonderful families. I left these sessions with a new perspective, a full and gracious heart and an immense appreciation of these special people that allow me a even a glimpse into their lives. I was bitten by the photography bug... Here are just a few from that day.
